Summary

Who needs a gopro? This simple device can be used to snuggly and safely hold an EIS Kodak Play Sport camera for easy mounting to a drone or gopro mount on another device. I desinged it to use the gopro mount and attach to my IRIS+ Drone.

Instructions

I printed with 3 shells, and 30% fill, but you can cut some weight with as little as 10% fill and still have good strength. The gopro mount is a remix of Streamlined Contour to GoPro Mount Adapters from WheresWaldo I just removed the slots on the attachment side, so that you can just glue the mount on to the flat surface on the back side. In my case, I like to use PVC cement (the kind you use on PVC pipe joining), cause it is fast, and has a nice cotton ball to apply a dab. You can also use thing:649261 (Action Cam Mount).

Just to be super safe, I added some velcro pads to each arm, and a simple velcro cord wrap to snugly secure across the font. There is no way that camera is coming out of this holder.
