Docreate DC1036L Mini UPS Vertical Cooling Stand (OpenSCAD Included)

[English] This is a custom vertical stand designed for the Docreate DC1036L Mini UPS (and similar 12V mini UPS models).

These devices tend to get quite hot during operation or charging. To solve this, I drilled ventilation holes on the back of my unit and designed this stand to hold it vertically. This orientation creates a "chimney effect," allowing cool air to enter from the bottom and hot air to escape from the top.

Results:

Before: High battery temperatures.After (Vertical + Holes): Battery temperature stabilized at 29°C even under load.

Important Note on Material: Since the internal components of the UPS can reach temperatures around 80°C (even if the case is cooler), I strongly recommend using PETG or ABS. PLA might soften over time due to the heat transfer at contact points.

How to Use (Nasıl Kullanılır)

Print the model.(Optional but recommended) Drill small ventilation holes on the back/bottom of your UPS case to allow airflow.Place the UPS into the stand vertically.Ensure the bottom vents are not blocked by cables.
