Snowboard Vise

I wanted a pair of vises that don't suck but also aren't $150. There are two versions. The compact is a little more portable/storable, while the "bindings on" version features a taller mid-section to allow for the board to be placed base-up with the bindings still attached.

For the clamping mechanism, a 5/16x3" eye-bolt and matching nut are used. The nut is pressed in from the side of the part and then the eye bolt threaded through, with the clamp cap being screwed onto the eye bolt after it is inserted in the vise.

Printed in PETG with 20% infill and 10 walls for strength, but could be done in a higher infill and fewer walls if desired. No supports required!

I added some rubberized grip tape (intended for computer mice and game controllers) to the top, bottom, and inner surfaces of my print for better grip on the board. This can be had on Amazon for about $10 for 5 sheets, and is useful for many projects!
