Mechanical Logic Gates

These three models simulate the logical gates AND, OR, and XOR. They operate entirely mechanically by sliding plates over each other based on the two inputs, which, under the corresponding condition, clear the path for the output. Only a small amount of glue is required for assembly.
The models can be used in computer science classes to make the basic principle of logical circuits tangible.
