Summary

I remixed these cucumber slices to use as eyes for a Halloween Pumpkin that has a spa theme.

There are two styles included:
• One has a centered spike for just pressing into the pumpkin.
• The other has the spikes offset so that you can cut a hole in the pumpkin for light to shine through from inside the pumpkin.

            <div><p>Glue the seeds to the cucumber slices. I recommend Aleene's tacky glue.<br>Press the outer rims onto the slices - I found these didn't need glue and simple went on snugly.</p><p>For the centred spike cucumbers, just push them into the pumpkin where you want the eyes to be.</p><p>For the offset cucumbers, when you want light to shine through the pumpkin, cut a small hole where you want the eye to be, being careful not to make it too large. Press the cucumber spike just outside it. </p><p>They wash up quite well after for use the following year.</p><p>I used simple dollar store acrylic paint to paint the face mask, and dollar store hand towels with hat pins to secure them to the pumpkin. </p></div>
