ELIKLIV EDM4 Microscope Arm Replacement (Taller!)

This is an ELIKLIV EDM4 Microscope Arm Replacement, which is taller than the one that the Microscope comes with by Default.

I have uploaded two files, one is the source file so you can make any adjustments (note: the arm needs to be 14mm exactly in diameter) so if you want to make it bigger or smaller. The second is the file that I printed, it is 250mm in length, with a 14mm diameter. This will allow it to work with most modern day printers.

Things to note:

• You want a pretty rigid material, that can withstand pressure in a few directions. I used PETG PRO from Elegoo. You can also (ideally) use Nylon, ABS, or ASA.
• When printing, you need to make sure that you use either a brim or a raft. Since you will be printing vertically, there is a high chance that the print will try to lift off the build plate. Use a Raft / Brim to minimize this risk. You can also use a textured surface or glue to help adhesion.
• You want this thing to be stiff / weigh a good amount. Make sure to have at least 4 - 5 walls, and 30% infill. If you can also make the bottom of the arm weigh more, it'll help so that the torque of the scope doesnt make it want to fall over.
