Vectrex Original Cartridge Fix

If you have a broken original Vectrex cartridge PCB support for your beloved Vectrex, don't throw it away or 3D print a whole new one to replace it! You can easily fix it with this internal support so from the outside the cartridge will be still fully oiginal with it's original look! Often the small plastic PCB supports inside the catridge breaks off because of the intense use, pushing and pulling on a hard slot will eventually break them (especially the lower one) or the edge supports which are very thin and so the small PCB with the game ROM inside will start moving around and won't fit properly in the slot anymore or it may seem it fits but as it slides back inside the shell it won't make proper contact and the game will not work or not work properly and seem broken! With this support specific for original Vectrex game cartridges you will be able to fix the cartridge and it will never break again as the support is practically indestructable using the whole of one side the ROM pins on the PCB itself as edge support for extraction and the back of the 3D printed plastic housing support for insertion. You will have to break off any remnant support strut (not the 4 aligning support pins on the top and bottom shells!) as shown in the photos and just place your cartridge PCB in the new support and drop it all in the lower case then simply close it with the upper and it all fits snugly together. You may need to file slightly the edges, top and bottom as based on the material you use there may be less thermal contraction so itmay be slighty large (I used ABS which shrinks a bit) - just test fit it before closing it all. You don't need to glue the support down to the cartidge shell as it's a snug fit and nothing moves around once it's closed, but feel free to use CA glue if you prefer.
