Mounting Hardware

Hello,
I have created a "thing" that includes various mounting hardware to use with the props that you create. I used these items for my props this year and they seemed to work well for me. I did not create these items and am sharing them here for your use.
I use the Tee (or as labeled "3 way elbow") to make a rectangular 1/2" PVC frame that fits the prop I want to mount. I then attach the clips to my prop so that it will clip on to the created frame. The entire prop is now quite stable and can be mounted to a pole, post, wall or however you want to do that.
I will admit, the rectangle frame, isn't the most elegant way to do this as I have seen folks get very fancy and find ways to create supports that are more hidden and conform to the shape of the prop but you could still use the clips any way you want. I just found the Tees to be very helpful as they allow me to keep longer and stronger segments of PCV pipe vs multiple small pieces that have more joints and possibly weaker support overall.

These items are for use with 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC pipe.

I have taken down my 2025 show and posted pictures of one of my singing props using the printables provided. (not perfectly square, but it worked very well!)

Clips:
These were designed and graciously shared by: 3DInsomniacDesigns
There are two clips variants of these.
A. Clip_49mm_ext is a clip that will accept a threaded screw to anchor the prop to the clip. It is recommended to use a #8 Panhead wood screw that is long enough to sink into the clip about 1". This will require you drill a 3.5mm hole in your prop for the screw. Please note that the mounting holes I placed in the props are 6mm because I used the second clip.
B. Clip_49mm_ex-For 1_4x20 Insert is a variant of the clip that accepts brass inserts that will accept a 1/4" x 1.5" bolt. I'm not promoting any particular insert or bolt but this is what I used:

Bolt - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2L3G7V8?ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details&th=1
This does require a heat source, like a soldering iron to insert the inserts.
Both clips have a hole for a zip tie to be placed and keep the pipe in the clip.

Tee:
I found this tee over a year ago and neglected save it in a collection on my account. I want to share the Tee but unfortunately, I can't make an attribution as to who originally designed this piece. If someone, or the designer can provide me a link, I will add it to this summary.
I found the Tee to be very helpful as it allows pipe to pass through the long edge allowing me to use longer pieces of pipe which I believe makes the entire frame stronger in the long run. I did drill holes through the Tee and pipe to place zip ties keeping the frame together.

I hope everyone finds these helpful.
I will add more items as time goes on. Hopefully you guys will make designs or suggestions a that I can add!
