Peppermint Butler Clock

This is the Peppermint Butler Clock. It is what it says on the tin. You'll need to buy a clock unit from Amazon (or wherever), but they're really cheap.

Once you print this, it's very important to understand the following. If you're using the 'dark magic' eyes, you must never, NEVER - under any circumstances - orient Peppermint Butler towards the corner of the room.

PRINT SETTINGS:
I have double-checked all the .gcode files and they should all fit together without any need for modification (you won't even need any glue to make them stick... well, maybe just a little). If you have no intention of making edits, just use the gcode files. They're set for Ender 3 V3 SE. I've uploaded a .zip file of the gcode for convenience.

If you intend to slice your own print file from the .stl's, you'll need to ensure that the inserted pieces are slightly smaller: Reduce the height and length (but not the depth) of the Chips and Tie by about 1%, and the Shirt by about 2%. It can be a bit fiddly.

If you intend to resize the Face and Shirt (for a smaller overall clock-size) you'll need to re-establish the size of the clock unit. If you simply shrink it, the unit won't fit.

SUPPORT SETTINGS:
Enable supports only for the inserts. Do not use supports for the holes into which the inserts fit. It's very easy for the support material to get stuck in there, and then you'll have to snip the insert to be shorter in order to fit.

COLOURS:
White - Just use White. You have white.
Black - I'm sure you have black.
Red - Elegoo RED PLA+
Blue - Deeplee Rapid PLA+, BLUE

I mean, ultimately, use whatever colours you want. I was very happy with how the colours came out using these PLAs.

Note: the back is a little rougher than the front. I had to use glue to get it to print firmly on the base. The black line was a rough measurement line from my plate. Your print won't look like this. Also, for the 'dark wizard' print, I haven't installed the clock parts - the hands are very flimsy and I want to post it.

CLOCK PARTS:
Just go to google, and type in 'clock kit'. You'll see exactly what you need. You can buy a pack of 5 for like £10.
