Official Raspberry Pi 5 Case 30mm Fan Shroud / Adapter

I wanted to use a massive 40mm heatsink on my Pi 5 with the official case that included a fan, but the way the fan mounted inside the case meant I couldn't. With this adapter, you just snap it into the hole in the case and screw the fan into it. There are a few options for how to run the cable into the case. I chose to run the cable over the outside of the case so it didn't sit on the hot heatsink. I put a bit of thermal pad on top of the power management ICs so they can put their heat into the heatsink.

Currently this works brilliantly and the fan rarely needs to come on.
