Toothbrush Drain Stand – Prevents Water Buildup & Gunk

This is a simple, functional toothbrush stand designed to solve a common hygiene problem with electric toothbrushes.

After brushing and rinsing, water often remains trapped inside the toothbrush stem cavity. Over time, that trapped liquid slowly drains down the handle, pooling at the base and creating unpleasant residue or “gunk” where the toothbrush sits. This stand elevates and angles the toothbrush so residual water can drain away properly, helping keep both the toothbrush and sink area cleaner.

Design details:

• Holds the toothbrush upright and slightly elevated to promote drainage
• Open channel directs water away instead of letting it collect at the base
• Compact footprint suitable for standard bathroom sinks

Printing notes:

• Printed at 80% infill, not for strength, but to add weight
• The added mass helps keep the stand from sliding around on smooth sink surfaces
• No supports required
• PLA, PETG, or similar materials work well
