Customizable OpenScad ACAB Case
Customizable OpenScad Case with USB-A, USB-C, USB-A and USB-B on front for your project!
Customize it as you want and need with the Customizer. It has ton of features - most of them are optional of course:
- Custom box sizes, bevel, connection points, etc.
- Custom feets for better grip on any surface.
- Mainboard to secure your project with a few zippers inside.
- Screws on different positions to keep the case closed.
- Lanyard hole for strap for easy carry.
- A ton of Text options: Bottom, Top, Front under the Sockets and on top aligned with the Sockets. Whatever you need!
- Custom USB Socket: Got different sizes from your vendor for those USB Sockets: Change them as needed over the Customizer!
- Hidden Features: Like things the Customizer (in OpenScad) can not handle. For example the Sockets are just a Array that can be changed and configured for other Sockets. And the code is yours to explore. :D
As a example i build a USB Hub into it and used random Adapters for that. This is also the source for the default settings in the OpenScad Skript.
But i highly recommend to measure your own Adapters since they can even change over the time of a production run.

Also: The Customizer of Thingyverse seems to be broken, but the Skript works in OpenScad as you can see in the Screenshots. The Customer on this website here gives the error: "ERROR: Parser error in line 740: syntax error!", but the Skript is only 706 Lines long. Wtf?
Edit: So yeah - The customizer sucks big time. Its based on a super old Version of OpenScad and it does not offer the simplest Functions of the language. I even tried to make that script way dummer - but no chance. Please just use OpenScad.
