Faux log for Aquarium Coop autofeeder use outdoors

I made this housing for my Aquarium Co-op auto feeder to allow me to use it on an outdoor pond. It has been in continuous use since 2024, and it keeps out the rain and bugs. Use fish foods that are less sensitive to humidity (no flake food), and it should work well. The main reason it doesn’t work better for me is that I forget to charge it and the auto feeder battery dies on me every month or so.

Note that I add a thick band of adhesive felt over the middle of the feeder to act as a seal against bugs and to center the feeder within the housing (see the video for details):
