OsVAC hose connectors for D28/36mm hose e.g. Bosch Professional antistatic. Super slim design

Minimalistic and easy to print hose connector for D28/36mm hoses e.g. from Bosch. The design is as narrow as possible, this avoids collisions with the work piece, especially for use with sanders.

The slip ring function is similar to the osVAC neo design. Print the bottom and top parts separately. To assemble, position the two pieces together and push a piece of filament into the side hole of the bottom connector. Cut the filament so that a short section is still sticking out as shown in the photo. Take a lighter or a small hot air gun to heat the filament stub until it is liquid and seal it with a flat head screwdriver. Alternatively you can also just cut it off a bit shorter and push it into the connector with a piece of filament. Depending on your printer calibration, it might be a bit tricky to insert the filament. A drop of oil will work wonders.

The female adapter uses my osVAC leak tight modification. You can add a 37x32x2.5mm O-ring to achieve an air tight fit, a really cheap one will do. Without O-ring, it will work as any other osVAC connector.

Print with 0.4mm nozzle. If you print with 0.6mm, make sure to adjust the line width of the perimeters to around 0.45mm to ensure that the thin parts on the female connector are sliced correctly.
