this is a phone holder that just keeps your phone in place while driving. there is enough of an angle naturally that the phone stays in place. this just lays over your hvac controls. I'm sure a smaller phone will still work within reason. it keeps hvac controls accessible for the most part you can edit temp and fan speed you just would be able to see the display while the phone is in place,
