Centering Pin for Cylindrical Cuvette Mounts

To streamline the alignment process of the beam and sample mount I designed a pin that could be placed in the cuvette mount and operate as a scattering object. To scatter light in an effective way, I made a thin rectangular prism centered on two cylinders the same diameter as our cuvette (12mm) . When placed into the cuvette mount the pin occupies the same space as the cuvette with only the thin section visible. The thin section is then lit up by the laser beam indicating alignment.

This is printed in two half which are then glued together.
