Bearing 16x50x12 mm (print in place)

There is a print in place bearing. Inner diameter is 16 mm, outer diameter is 50 mm, width is 12 mm.

Consist of outer ring, inner ring, a cage and eight W-profiled rolls.

Unlike most print-in-place bearings on the Internet, it has low radial and axial backlash.

There are two modifications. One has a 0.1 mm tolerance between rolls and rings, second has a 0.2 mm tolerance.

Very important! Your printer should a good calibration. You can print a tolerance test (e. g. in Orca) first in your slicer.

After printing you should make next steps:

  1. Squeeze strong a bearing for several times (see photo).
  2. Take the bearing in your hand, and press strong every rolls with a metal stick from front and rear side of bearing (see photo).
  3. Try to turn the bearing. It will be difficult to do this at first time, but then it will become easier with each next turn. If a bearing isn't turn, follow steps 1 and 2.
  4. Make sure that all eight rollers are rotating when the bearing is turning. If this is not the case, follow steps 1 and 2.
