Fiskars Desk Mat Wall Buffer

This is a guard designed to slip over the edge of a Fiskars desk mat to prevent it going tight to a wall.

I use a 24" X 36" Fiskars mat on my 3D printing bench. The mat overhangs the front edge of the table a little and I have cords passing behind it, i.e. between the back edge of the mat and the wall. It's entirely too easy to push against the front edge of the mat and pinch the cords.

This model is for a cylindrical, slotted spacer to slip over the edge of the mat and prevent it being pushed against the wall. It maintains about a 10 mm space between the mat and the wall for cords to pass through.

The model is about 75 mm long but could easily be scaled down in length if desired.
