Summary

We use TTGO T-Display ESP32 boards in our first-year Applied Computer Science course.

Students mount the board on a (large) breadboard, and when pressing the T-Display into place, the screen is sometimes damaged.

This protective cover is designed to prevent damage to the display while still allowing the T-Display to be used on a breadboard without obstruction.

PLA will eventually break. PLA is hygroscopic and becomes brittle over time, which can cause the small clips or tabs to snap off.<br>With PETG, the clips remain functional and resilient. Especially in a student environment, the part needs to be robust and able to withstand repeated handling.</p><p>On my Ender 3 V2, I flipped the glass build plate so I can print on the smooth side. This results in a much cleaner and more polished surface finish compared to printing on the textured side.<br>I set the build plate temperature to 80°C. The first layer is printed at 250°C, after which I reduce the nozzle temperature to 240°C.<br>The build plate is clean — no hairspray or any other adhesion aids are used.</p></div>
