Ambrosian-style monstrance/reliquary

Ambrosian-style monstrance or reliquary. Total height: 684 mm or 26 9/10 inch (see pictures, ciborium for scale). The largest dimensions while printing in each axis are x: 264 mm, y: 264 mm, z: 230 mm. According to the relic inside, the panels might be decorated with the relevant texts, symbols or attributes. The adapter has to be modified for the specific relic.

This uploaded version is S. Pius X.-themed, but by changing the texts on the 4+4+1 panels, having a different statue and a different adapter, it can be modified easily. The lower panels have a base of a 166x22x3 mm rectangular cuboid, for the upper panels I have uploaded two different empty versions. The panel on the base is 141x36x3 mm. The tiara+keys papal emblem might be omitted or replaced, its socket is 44x4.325 mm wide and 6 mm deep. The niches for the wax seals have to modified. Also, the underside of the upper part features a dove with rays.

The glass tube is not integral to the structure and can be omitted, if you remove its flanges. In the uploaded model, the maximum outer diameter is 152 mm, the minimum inside diameter is 143 mm. The nominal height is 200 mm, but it can vary between the limits of 194-202 mm.

The parts are: lower base, 2 seraphim, upper base, middle part, 8 connectors, main part, 4 corinthian (composite) capitals, 4 columns, 4+4 headed pins, upper part, canopy, orb, cross, 1+1+1 wax seal covers, 4+4+1 panels, statue, papal emblem, glass tube, relic adapter. The connecting dimensions are designed mostly nominally, so some post-processing or gluing might be required, according to your settings. 1.5 cans of Revell 94 Gold and 3.5 cans of Revell 90 Silver modeling paints were used (1 can = 14 ml/0.47 fl oz). Printed with Creality HyperABS. Total weight WITHOUT glass tube is 1.7 kg.

The whole assembly can be locked by two wax seals, which prevent the pins of the columns from being removed. There is an additional seal on the back of the adapter. If the threads are sealed with a wax seal or something similar, than the assembly cannot be taken apart without residual deformation or damage to one or more components. See pictures.
