AMERICAN FLYER STYLE LINK COUPLER

By any chance, asking for a friend, would you be able to create a link coupler I was asked.
I took a link to work and got some measurements using a coordinate measuring machine and optical competitor.
Using Tinkercad this is what I created.
One design you can use the weight from an old broken link.
The other design has the same look as the old link but doesn't have the extra weight.
Then a thought came to me to install a magnet in the link using a 1/4 x 1/8 magnet with a plug on one side,
The magnet sound like a good ideal but I am not shore it is really practical.
I printed using 100% infill on my QIDI PLUS 3 machine and they look great.
I do not have the tools to properly install them on my trucks, so they are not fully tested.

I found out not all weights have the same diameter.
