Modular Ratchet Holder w/ "Ratchets" Text
Here we have a 2 piece 3 ratchet modular hanging ratchet holder with "Ratchets" text on top. This is a great exercise for practicing manual dual color printing. This is easy if your printer is running Marlin. There is post processing needed to assemble this. I am lazy so I did not feel like adding dual size holes and tapers into the design ;) Front (actual holder) 6 holes are tight and need to be sized to fit 3mm screws using a 7/64 drill. Middle section lower 6 holes need to be drilled using a 1/8 bit so screws will pass thru and tapered. You can taper with a drill bit but be careful, if it bites hard you will ruin the part, Better to get a countersunk drill from HF for a few bucks. Works great. Upper 4 holes on middle need to be sized with 7/64 bit to accept 3mmx20mm screws. Rear section needs to be drilled with a 1/8 bit also for the screws to pass through. Tapered holes optional on the rear. Also make sure the pieces are FLAT between them for proper mating. The gap for hanging the holder is 5mm so check your box to make sure it will work. I used PETG, .15 LH, 6 layers top & bottom, 6 walls, 100 % infill/ lines (or your choice). 100 % infill for strength. Fun print !! Note: Will not fit all ratchets due to multiple head designs. Also print middle and rear standing up using normal support on rear overhang for proper text alignment.Edit: Added a single piece version, printed upright, supports required. Outer brim recommended
