Summary

This project is a 3D printed disposable mold for polyurethane rubber. The rubber thing is the final product.

My friend needs to use eye drops. The eye drop cap is quite narrow and tapered. It's difficult to remove because you have little grip. That's why I invented this thing. It's a polyurethane rubber holder with a tapered hole. You slide it over the cap and squeeze gently. The cap comes off very easily this way.

Post-Printing

Polyurethane

            <div><p>You need polyurethane rubber and a release agent. Spray a small amount of release agent into the mold. Then mix a small amount of polyurethane rubber with the hardener and stir well. If desired, mix in a suitable pigment. Pour the mixture into the mold and let the rubber harden.</p><p>If it has hardened use pliers to carefully destroy the mold. Make sure not to destroy the rubber.</p><p>After the rubber has been released wash it before use.</p></div>
