T-Trak Straight Module (Tomix Fine Track, Dual Mainline)
This is a 3D printable straight T-Trak module designed for a local dual mainline standard using Tomix Fine Track. This the smaller module 280mm x 200mm x 70mm. The track is adjustable to be levelled up to 100mm.
The module is optimized to fit 2× S280 straight track sections, making it fully compatible with layouts following a 37mm track spacing dual mainline configuration.
A key feature of this design is its modular, dismantlable frame, allowing for easy transport and compact storage—perfect for club members bringing modules to meetups.

🛠️ Assembly Instructions
The Top Halves and Front Facia pieces are joined using:
- 2 mm toothpicks (as alignment pins)
- Glue for permanent bonding
- THE TOP HALVES ARE DIRECTIONAL!:
- Ensure correct orientation during assembly
- Pre-designed mounting holes align with Tomix track fixing points
Additional alignment:
- Small pin holes are included at mating surfaces
- Insert shortened toothpicks to prevent the frame from bulging outward
📦 Additional Hardware Required
To complete the module, you will need:
8x M2x6mm screws to fix the track to the surface
4× M4x6mm brass inserts (for levelling screws)
8× M3x6mm brass inserts (for side and front frame screws)
8× M3x10mm countersunk screws (side and front frame attaching screws)
4× M4x40mm round head plastic thumbscrews (or similar alternatives) - levelling screws
2 mm toothpicks (recommended size: 2 mm × 65 mm) - half reinforcing joiners

💡 Tips
Dry-fit all parts before gluing
Use a square surface during assembly to maintain alignment
Consider adding rubber feet or leveling bolts depending on your club setup

- Front and Top halves are updated to 3.5mm thickness. Enlarged the toothpick holes to 2.2mm diameter and 60mm length so that they can be inserted without cutting or reducing the diameter to fit.
