Thundercats Lion-o claw shield

This is a 3D model of the claw shield used by Lion-o from the Thundercats. I designed this model in Blender to go with the Sword of omens I'm in the process of printing as part of my journey to learn 3D printing, 3D modeling and sculpting.
I am still learning the ropes in blender, so please be aware that this model may require some fine tuning, scaling, or surface touching up. I haven't worked out how to texture yet and im not sure about hollowing it out to make it wearable .
If you have suggestions on how i can improve the mesh or geometry, I'd love to hear them. Ive provided a single .STL file.
I'm excited to share my progress and hope this provides a good base for fellow Thundercats fans.
