Eikelhuisje voor vogels. (Acorn house for birds.)

In het broedseizoen zoeken vogels naarstig naar nestgelegenheid en daar wil ik ook graag nog een steentje aan bijdragen. Als vorm staat dit keer een eikel model.
Het ontwerp spreekt voor zich en bestaat uit 3 losse delen (eikel, dop en steeltje) en een slim bevestigingssysteem. De dop wordt met een bajonet sluiting op de eikel geschroefd. Het "steeltje" past in het gat van de dop.
In dit ontwerp is er voor gekozen om het "Eikelhuisje" met een riempje, tie wrap of spanbandje om en aan een tak of stam vast te binden, zodat er geen schade aan de boom noodzakelijk is. Het bevestigingssysteem kan aan de grillige groei, die bomen en takken nu eenmaal hebben, worden aangepast. Het "Eikelhuisje" kan dus altijd gemakkelijk in de juiste positie kan worden gemonteerd.
TIP: Bij het printen van al die bolle en holle vormen komt heel wat support materiaal vrij. Gooi dit niet direct weg. Het is prachtig nestmateriaal voor de vogels om mee te beginnen!

In the breeding season, birds diligently look for nesting opportunities and I would like to contribute to that. This time the form is an acorn model. The design speaks for itself and consists of 3 separate parts (glans, cap and stem) and a smart attachment system. The cap is screwed onto the glans with a bayonet closure. The "stem" fits into the hole of the cap.
In this design, it was decided to tie the "Acorn House" around and to a branch or trunk with a strap, tie wrap or strap, so that no damage to the tree is necessary. The fastening system can be adjusted to erratic growth, which trees and branches simply have, so that the "Acorn House" can easily be mounted in the correct position.
TIP: Printing all those convex shapes releases a lot of support material. Do not throw this away immediately. It is wonderful nesting material for the birds to start with!
