Dust Cap for Celestron C6 SCT (SC 152/1500)

Custom-designed dust cap for the Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope C6 (SC 152/1500).

The provided model does NOT include any text or lettering — it is a clean base design.

The cap is designed to fit snugly on the telescope tube with an inner diameter of 184 mm, which includes a ~3 mm allowance for adhesive foam padding. I recommend using 1.7 mm self-adhesive foam tape inside the cap to ensure a secure fit and prevent scratches on the optical tube.

Two versions included:
Standard dust cap
Cap with removable inner insert for installing a solar filter film
Protective fit with soft foam lining (no direct contact with telescope tube)
Easy press-fit installation and removal

☀️ Solar Filter Option:

The “filter-ready” version includes a small internal cap where you can securely mount solar filter film, making it suitable for safe solar observation setups (with proper filter material).
