Cake Knife, split with gem to lock halves together

This is a cake knife with a sword theme. It is designed to be 2 halves that slide together and lock with a satisfying click when the gem is snaps into the hilt. This is a design in progress. There will still need to be some sort of interlocking feature added into either the handle or pummel for the gem to actually have some sort of feature to react off of. If there are any wizards out there that want to do the remix, buddy I would love you forever. Also, my proportions are kind of wanky. The grip isn't very elegant and more beefed out like a pistol grip. This wedding is in about 6 months so....
