Flexible TPU LED-Illuminated Border for Wearables

This is a flexible, LED-backlit trim designed for cyberpunk-style costumes and LARP wearables.

The trim is 3D printed in silver TPU and features a cut-out pattern. These openings are backed with a diffusing plastic film, allowing light from LEDs placed behind the piece to shine through the pattern and create a sharp, high-contrast glowing effect.

The combination of reflective TPU surface and diffused backlighting produces a vivid, neon-like appearance, ideal for futuristic costume elements such as collars, lapels, or armor details.

Required Additional Components
To complete the build, you will need:

• Small battery-powered LED string lights
• Durable plastic film (e.g. vacuum sealing film used for food packaging)

         The plastic film is placed behind the cut-out pattern to:           - Diffuse the light           - Protect the LEDs           - Serve as a mounting layer for the lighting

Printing

• Material: TPU (silver recommended for best reflective effect)
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Layer height: 0.15 mm
• Infill: 100%
• Print slowly for best surface quality
