Planes of the head and shoulders (Masculine bust)

This is a masculine bust I created to help me learn the forms for head and shoulders portrait drawing. Much like the Asaro head it breaks the complicated organic shapes into simpler geometric ones with distinct boarders and edges for easy studying, though the forms are more complex than those of an Asaro head. The process of creating this has taught me so much and hope that you can learn just as much by studying it.
