GeoShake T1 — Enclosure for a DIY / open source seismometer

This is the production enclosure for the GeoShake T1, a home seismic
monitoring station that detects P-waves and streams ground motion to an
open seismic network.

Three parts: top shell, base, and a wall bracket.

PRINT SETTINGS

  • Material: PETG (indoor) or ASA (outdoor / UV exposure)
  • Infill: 25%
  • Supports: not required — all three parts print support-free
  • Layer height: 0.2 mm, 3 walls works well

HARDWARE

  • 2x M3 heat-set insert
  • 2x M3 nut
  • 2x M3 x 15 mm screw
  • 2x M3 x 25 mm screw
  • M4 screws for wall mounting (not included)

MOUNTING MATTERS
Use the wall bracket rather than free-standing placement. A station resting
loosely on a shelf records the furniture, not the ground.

WHAT'S INSIDE
The firmware is open source (GPL-3.0) and so is the signal-processing
reference it's locked to — you can audit exactly how the earthquake

The PCB design is proprietary, so this is an enclosure release, not a full
