Alignment and Riser Feet for Creality Falcon Pro Laser

I recently purchased a Creality Falcon Pro 10w laser engraver. I wanted to set up an alignment grid being able to repeatedly place the laser in the same location each time I used it. I didn't want the laser permanently mounted. I wanted to be able to move it and add risers for taller objects.

After several iterations, I came up with this design. The feet can be screwed to the base board for repeatable laser placement. Then I burned the grid into the base. This way the grid coordinates are always correct after homing the laser.

I designed risers to slide into the feet so it's easy to set the laser higher up. Once everything is sitting in place they are surprisingly sturdy, even with the tallest riser.

I modeled a 25mm, 50mm, and 100mm riser. They can be stacked in different configurations for whatever height you need. The more you stack, the more you compound the tolerance where they fit together. It's possible to get some wobble if several are stacked and the laser is moving quickly.

I would test one foot and a small riser first to ensure they fit together well. I have the tolerance pretty tight. Depending on your printer and settings you may need to make minor adjustments.

I printed these in PLA+, 0.2 height, 10% infill. No supports are needed if printed as modeled.

I had trouble finding a grid I liked so I included the 400x415mm grid I made.
