Ferris Sweep Half Swept Magnetic Snap-Together Case – v2

Magnetic travel case for a wireless Ferris Sweep Half Swept. The two halves snap together so the keyboard can be carried in a pocket. Includes bottom cases, middle plates and raised controller covers with room for a battery below the controller.

The feet sit outside the main perimeter for stability. Two magnet holes per foot allow the halves to close without a gap. The power switch remains accessible; the reset button does not. Controller-cover tolerances are tight and may need adjustment for controllers other than the AliExpress SuperMini NRF52840. The PCB-to-case clearance is 0.2 mm.

Important: edge cuts vary between Sweep versions, so this case may not fit other revisions.

Hardware: eight M2×3×3.5 threaded inserts; six M2×8 and two M2×6 screws; up to twenty-four 6×2 mm magnets (four per side can be enough); ten 8 mm bumpons.

Print notes: no supports. For translucent middle plates, use 100% infill, zero perimeters and 0.1 mm layers. The thinnest wall beneath USB-C is 0.4 mm.
