Infinity Sweep Backdrop Holder for Product Photography
A 3D-printable holder designed to create a smooth infinity sweep background for product photography using paper or thin cardstock.
The holder forms the backdrop into a smooth R200 mm curve, eliminating the visible corner between the horizontal surface and the vertical background. The 1.5 mm wide slot holds and guides the backdrop along the curved profile.
The two side holders are connected with interchangeable support rods, allowing the width of the setup to be adapted for different backdrop sizes.

- Support rod lengths:
- 100 ±10 mm
- 135 ±10 mm
- 165 ±10 mm
- The position of one end of the support rod can be adjusted when installed in the edge position.
- Locking piece length: 40 mm
- Spacer length: 10 mm
Different support rod lengths can be used to configure the holder for different backdrop widths while keeping the two curved side pieces aligned.
The holder is intended for tabletop product photography and is particularly useful for photographing small objects, 3D prints, tools, models, and similar items against a clean, seamless background.
Recommended Print Settings
- Material: Any
- Infill: 20% or more
- Print two support rods for better stability.
- Print the STL files in their default orientation as loaded.
- Supports are not required when printed in the recommended orientation.
