Adapter for motorized ORU lake kayak with a SUP fin motor. Wired connection for rudder steering

These 3D printables can be used for equipping the ORU Kayak lake with an electric fin motor with standard sliding flange. In the picture the Vaquita Epropulsion is flanged to the adapter but any other fin motor can be flanged as well. The kayak has got a quick lock tightener at the rear which can be used to fix the 3d printed mounting plate to the kayak. With four M6 screws the rudder can be mounted with the plate. By tigtening the rudder towards the plate it gets pressed towards the kayak and stays fixed at the rear. The rudder can be steered with a bowden wire and a hand grip being screwed to the side metal bracket of the kayak. A wire feedthrough at the hand grip can be screwed with a nut and the wire should be fixed in neutral position if the rudder is directing straight forward. The rudder has got a light weight aluminium tube (12 mm diameter, 2 mm wall thickness) as turning axis. The rudder can be lifted up with the fin motor as to avoid damage if reaching the shore. The bowden wire has got a 2 mm wire and a length of around 3.5 m. Printing info: If you use a K2 plus please use the tree structured support. Later removal of support material will be easier.
