Big flash drive fidget

This is a simple fidget that’s easy to print, easy to assemble, and very satisfying to use.

There are two versions of the blade or plunger. The short version stays inside the handle and is easier to use because you can hold it in any position. The long version extends nicely on the downward stroke and looks cooler, but it can bump into your hand while you’re using it, so it takes a little more attention.

Assembly is straightforward. First, remove all the supports. Set a base plate down and insert the switch. Choose either the short or long blade or plunger and place it underneath. Add the connecting rod, then set the top piece over everything. Slide the grip on from the bottom upward until it snaps into place, keeping the higher end away from the switch side. You may need to pry the bottom open slightly to get the locking nubs over the bottom, then slide it up till it seats properly.
