Summary

A name tag for your cup! Fits on most German coffee mugs.

Instructions

The STL is only here for visualization. You can print it, if you want, but then your coffee mug is all mine! ;-)

Download the OpenSCAD script (kaffeetassen.scad) and put it into a folder on your hard drive.
Get Write.scad and orbitron.dxf from Thing 16193.
Drop Write.scad and orbitron.dxf into a new subfolder named write/ relative to kaffeetassen.scad.
Open kaffeetassen.scad in OpenSCAD, and change the name in line 12.
- Don't put more than 10 characters, or it will cap the text.
- Or, change the font size by changing the parameter h in the writecylinder call to something smaller (line 75).
Render the model in OpenSCAD (press F6)
Go get a coffee (or a faster CPU).
Export the model to your favourite 3D file format and throw it onto your 3D production line.
If the clip is too hard to put on your handle or to remove, tune the inner ends of the clip with a rasp.
