Summary

Here are two pocket relief maps: Yemen and Bab el Mandeb, the strait that connects the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden. OpenSCAD's surface command was used to make the maps.

Data came from one of USGS GMTED2010 files which cover the whole globe and are available for download at http://earthexplorer.usgs.gov/ OpenSCAD's surface command makes it easy to create small relief maps. A short fortran program, Yemen.f, is included. Yemen.f was used to make the data files for the surface command and there is more information in the program.
