My 2 Axis Gimbal

Custom 2 axis servo gimbal for our hex copter.

Uses a Standard size servo for the horizontal and two sub micro servos for vertical.

Servos used:
1 - HS-422
2 - HK-15178

  • if using two powered servos for the cam swing you must internally reverse one of the servos.

  • after one of the servos was reversed, the two sub micro servos where slighting fighting each other ( due to low quality and no way to adjust the trim of just one servo ) so I used one servo for power while gutting the other servo and just used it as a bearing.
