Summary

I designed this toy rocket to be sturdy and multi-colored for my 18 month-old grand-son. He loves it :)

Instructions

There are five parts to the toy: fuselage, bottom nozzle, and three fins. All can be printed separately.

My print is in PLA with a 0.5mm nozzle and 0.4mm layer height. No support required, and there are no extreme overhangs. It was intended to be printed by any 3D printer without extreme calibration, cooling or hotbed.

The fins slide into the fuselage from the bottom. On my print, the friction fit is tight enough that that no glue or friction welding was needed.

The bottom nozzle is optional. I used a 3mm self-tapping screw to attach it to the fuselage (some drilling required), but friction welding would probably be fine.
