endpiece for 40mm-vacuuncleaner-hose

if the hose of your vacuumcleaner rips apart,
instead of gluing the piece that makes it twistable back on you can just screw something like this onto the hose.
it sure wont fit into every endpiece but the thread in the drawing should be usefull to somebody.
D=40mm, p=5.5mm, !clockwise!, nearly trapecodial, ~86°

make sure the hose is clean and screw it on as draughty as possible.
siliconespray never hurts. (bit to percise again)
maybe scale x&y up by .2mm (.5%).

ps.: why bother bying poliamidtape?
thats my second print made with pet-foil melted on at 100°,
covered with maskingband (see picture).
the bottom ain't shyni but it sticks great.
