I needed a mobile mast mount for my Lenz2 Helical XL from thing 99132

So I made some parts to make a somewhat mobile mast mount I can disassemble and is portable enough for car transport.

I just thought I'd upload those parts here instead of sticking them under the turbine thing.

Instructions

What I used to make this mount is 1 44x68mm 180cm of treated wooden pole for outside use. I made a slot in the wood to make a cross.

I then drilled 4 7,5mm holes for the 4 feet, and 4 holes 7,5mm for the mast mount. I used a 20mm wood drill to counter sink the holes for about 10mm deep so that the hex head of the M8 bolts is countersunk into the beam.

I ratcheted the 8 M8x100 bolts into the 8 holes so that the wire ends protrude from the top side. You can then fit the mount on top and fasten it with wing nuts. The mount has a few extra slide holes for easier transport without loosing everything.

For reinforcement I made a collar to fit onto the mast to guide 4mm steel PVC coated wire. It used 2 M4x20 with 2 M4 Loc-nuts. Combined with the feet and end clamps this makes should be able to bear the wind load whilst being portable. For the end clamps you need 4 M3x16 bolts with loc-nuts a piece, for a total of 16. For the feet you need a M5x30 bolt with a wing nut.
