NOTE: Depending on the depth of your extruder motor, it may be possible for the motor to touch the inside edge of the gantry (left side only). However, this only happens after you have exceeded the useable print area of the bed, so this should never happened under normal operation. I simply placed a strip of adhesive foam to the rear/left surface of the motor to act as a soft bumper in case contact was ever made.
