Summary

This is a model for the Spyro from the game The legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon. The design is of French origin. I have repaired the wings and tested the print out, Now working on painting it. Will have more pictures of it painted soon.

Instructions

This was printed on an XYZ Da Vinci 2.0 Duo, In ABS plastic. It was sliced using the XYZware, with medium level support material. The one shown was scaled by 0.5 from the original file to make it fit the print bed. It used 11m of filament. Be careful when removing support material of any type as the legs have an alarming tendency to snap off, The one shown had two of it's legs come off, but they were seamlessly reattached with a dab of super glue. I would recommend having some super glue ready for the support removal process as the legs coming off is very likely. Glues back together perfectly and you can't tell the difference once repaired. Watch the wings as well as they are very long, thin and broad.
