Not fully 3D printable, this is only a test. Needs spring and retention arm to function. Could be modified to be 100% 3D printable. See instructions for parts needed and assembly instructions.

Instructions

Be sure to set your printer on a very fine setting, at low temperatures. This is a high strain part, so make it carefully.

Things needed:

1 X 1/2" x 1/16" Positive Spring, pretty strong.

2 X 3/16" x 1/16" inner diameter beveled screws. Doesn't matter that much, just needs to not be flimsy.

What to do. Once you have printed the two pieces, put the spring into the hole in the front. Some sanding may be required, but don't worry. Once the spring is in the front hole/cavity, put the smaller printed piece in front of the spring, and push back while putting in the screws. This will enable the piece that makes contact with the mount to move back and forth with resistance.

The screws keep it in place so that it does not fly all over. I made a drawing about how it works in the thing files.
