Robotic Gripper Toy

As an exercise, I designed a robotic gripper without consulting the internet or other samples for reference. I think it came out pretty well!

This is intended to be used with:

  • 1" pvc pipe
    (can be adjusted with Shaftdiameter)
  • 4-40 screws and nuts (jam nuts recommended)
    (can be adjusted with screw_diameter and nut_diameter)
  • springs or rubber bands
  • wire or string through the pipe as an actuator

Note that the handle and trigger are printed as one piece, as there would be no way to assemble it otherwise.

My intent was to use flexible filament for the gripper ends, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
