Volume by no French Fries

This model shows the volume below z=16-x^2-2y^2 and above the square [0,2]x[0,2]. The height was also scaled down by a factor of four. The equation for the paraboloid is found on the bottom of the model. Together with Volume by 16 & 64 French Fries, this shows how a double Riemann sum can approximate a volume. This model was designed and printed by my WLU summer research student Ryan McDonnell ('17).
