Turntable with 5 degree steps
I've been trying out Autodesk Memento and decided to make a turntable to make shooting multiple shoots more precise.
I used MOI for the design work.
At 1:1 the turntable is rather large but the largest parts fit OK on my Ultimaker 1.
Most of the parts were made on the Ultimaker in PLA (mostly Bilby 3D PLA). However the puller, wedge and keepers were made on a Robox using Robox ABS. No special reason for this.
All the screws are 3mm button head cap screws. 14-off 10mm and 3-off 15mm long.
The spring O/D is 7mm. Free length 19mm Solid height 4mm. Wire diameter .65mm.
I haven't tried using the turntable without the spring. I suspect that the spring is of little benefit.
The mounts are to elevate the photo subject above the rest of the turntable for easier processing.
The large central mount is shown. Also included in the stl files is a smaller mount. 3 or 4 (or more) of these could used in the 10mm holes for larger objects.
For stability I've mounted the turntable on a piece of wood. The mounting screws are accessible via the outermost 10mm holes.
