Whirl & Hurl 18

This is a complete spin rocket with tumble recover. No body tubes, nose cones, or parachutes are needed. You just need an 18mm motor such as a C6 and some tape. These rockets go up fast, and make a lot of noise as they chop through the air. They are a lot of fun and have been repeatedly flown on C6 motors without any issue. I have not tried them on B or A motors.

Updated versions... Instead of just slanting, the blades, the blades have a twist. It makes a different sound and behaves a little different in the air. Still a great flier.

There is also a version without the retainer. Just use 1/8" masking tape to make a thrust ring, insert the motor and then put a tape ring on the other side of the motor.

I do suggest using C6-0 motors. A motors are too weak for the larger 18mm file. B are Ok ok. But still, don't use long delay motors or the motor ejection may be on the ground.
