M3D Acrylic glass holders
I've encased the m3d printer with acrylic glass. I bought it cut into rectangles of 150mm x 140mm (I've ordered them online for about 20€ in total - on hindsight, I should have ordered 5 because I damaged one when drilling. Making them square would have also been useful). I drilled 4 holes with 4 mm diameter each - I also created a fitter object that can be used to mark the holes.
There are 3 pieces of holders that are put on the bottom and one of the sides of the glass. The piece with the small spring is put on the other side. Once you've assembled everything, you can slide the glass on the open holes of the printer on each side. The spring pushes the glass slightly back and keeps the glass in place.
